Rain – no rain – rain – no rain, and this seemed to happen all day. We did however, manage to keep our Heidi and Luke dry all day. Miraculously, it just seemed to rain whenever we tried to get into the cars. In saying all that – I just love shooting on overcast days when the light is soft and the skies are dramatic.
Heidi and Luke had organised a really beautiful ceremony, the priest was a family friend who also attended the reception – this made the nuptials extra special. The little chapel at Kincumber was an absolute dream to shoot in, beautiful natural light and stunning locations to take photos on the grounds. Apparently the chapel is quite hard to get into for weddings, so I felt quite privileged to be shooting there.
The reception was held at the Crown Plaza, Terrigal. A grand venue – again, so many locations to shoot nearby that I had to be choosy. I love the blue boat shed at Terrigal, and with blue being the theme of the day, it simply had to be used.
Wow, the photos are amazing! Thanks Natalie and Ash, you did a fantastic job, Luke and I couldn’t be happier!
