Time seem to be at a premium at this time of year so it’s difficult keeping up with the blog and all the photography that’s been happening but I had to get up a few images from a beautiful garden wedding I attended last week at Wamberal.
Once again, this wedding was a little different from the usual in that I hadn’t met Melissa, the bride, until the morning of the wedding. Up until the day, Melissa’s mum had been my sole contact and wedding organiser extraordinaire! It didn’t take long to build up some trust from Melissa and we were off and running with some great shots of her and her girlfriends who were all keen to get involved in the photography, as were the two beautiful little flower girls, Charlotte and Sienna.
The newly renovated Crowne Paza made for some great images with their updated colour scheme, decor and plenty of natural light.
Meeting the boys for the first time was instantly a laugh as I had photographed Adrian at one of his groomsmen’s wedding a few years prior. They took to the photography like seasoned models and would have been happy for the shoot to be only about them.
The garden setting was just perfect and the ceremony was beautifully conducted by Melissa’s Grandmother which was a lovely touch.
With no need to travel for photos as we had a gorgeous setting all around us we took a few snaps and had Melissa and Adrian back to their reception in no time to enjoy the day with their closest family and friends.
As the light faded the marquees took on a warm glow and it wasn’t long after that the “Amazing Horns” came out to entertain the crowd – and entertain they did! These guys had the place rocking from the very first song and had the dance floor packed and overflowing. I left a few songs later and there still wasn’t room to move on that dance floor – it looked like everyone was set for a huge night!
Below are a few photos from the day.
I was the celebrant at Melissa & Adrian’s wedding, (yes the grandmother).
The photos above are simply fantastic. I know I am biased when I say they are both absolutely gorgeous, they look like models.
The photos are absolutely wonderful and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to any of my future brides. Please send me some details that I can keep on file.
Hi Robyn
Thanks for the lovely comments – and yes, they do look like models! A very easy day for me. It was such a nice touch to have you conduct the ceremony and I’m sure they will both treasure your involvement in their day.
I’ll be sure to send you some details, it was nice to work with you and I hope I get the chance to again.
