I didn’t think I’d get the chance to update the blog while away but have access to a computer for a short time to fill you in on an amazing wedding I photographed while in Scotland – it was the wedding of Linda’s cousin Jacqueline, to Chris, her partner of eleven years! The wedding was the very reason we made the trip to Scotland and to be able to photograph the day was extra special for me.
As for a perfect wedding, this one had EVERYTHING; tears, laughter, a beautiful church, a minister with a great sense of humour, a truly amazing location, glorious sunshine, colourful fashion, kilts in all manor of tartan, a meal to die for, a handsome groom, a gorgeous bride, family from around the world and so much love – what a day!
Although there were a few traditions that differed slightly from an Australian wedding that I am accustomed to, one thing that shone through and above all was that with a bride and groom that are in love, everything else on the day pales into insignifigance. With that in mind, the photography was simply a matter of pointing and shooting… anyone could have captured beautiful images on a day like this.
Congratulations Jacqueline and Chris and thanks for including me in such a wonderful occasion – love to you both. Below are a few images from the day for you to enjoy before I can get started on your album.
WOW. They look awesome, as expected. Looks like it was great fun too, as expected with Lindas family!
Amazing pictures to match an amazing day!
OMG Thank you so much Andrew what a fantastic job you make it look so easy and effortless i suppose thats what a professional is suppose to do.
It was great to have you here to share our daughter & son-in-laws special day.
