I think this has been the longest farewell in the history of any workplace but if anyone deserves that, it’s our Jemima.
Friday was officially her last day with Impact Images and she seemed to be working right up until 5pm! Who does that on their last day?
It seems that every moment over the past six weeks has been spent transferring all manner of informations, skills, tricks, tips, procedures and gossip to Tenneille who is taking over Jemima’s role in the studio. Jemima’s dedication to the studio, her work and our clients is simply unquestionable and we are very sad to see her leaving us. (Although, very happy to have found Tenneille).
I could go on and on about how amazing Jemima is but for anyone that has crossed paths with her over the years, you have all experienced that firsthand. The great thing is that many of her idiosyncrasies are already recognisable in Tenneille – which is quite scary.
To wish Jemima a bon voyage and a thanks for everything, the impact crew got together for a few drinks and dinner on Friday night and we had a blast. I don’t remember so much laughter in a long time. I feel so lucky to be involved with such an awesome group of people.
You might notice the “ring ins,” Kel and Ian from Kel-Leigh Couture that are very much a part of the extended impact family. Thanks for coming guys, we all loved having you there to celebrate Jemima’s farewell with us.
To Jemima – all of us wish you the very best in your travels, adventures, work and leisure as you head to Europe on what should be the trip of a lifetime. We will miss you desperately and remember you always, especially when the clock hits ten past nine and you aren’t walking through the door with stories about traffic or car issues 🙂
Have fun, we love and miss you already!
Andrew and all the team at Impact
