Hi, I’m Jemima, and I do all of the editing and photo enhancing and digital work at the Erina Heights studio yes ladies, I am the airbrusher! (haha)
So, a little about me… I have a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Newcastle. I enjoy coming into work every morning OK that’s a lie, I am not a morning person at all… if I had my way, work would start at about 11am! But I do love my job so I count myself as very lucky.
I am the youngest of 3 kids, my brother and sister both live in other States, so I don’t get to see them very often which is sad. I do however, have a great group of friends that I have been close to since high school, they are my additional family. I also have a very spoilt dog called Albert, he’s my beautiful little Staffy.
I love, love, love music and art. Earlier this year, I had 2 months off to travel. I visited the UK, Europe and Thailand on the way home. I met some amazing people – it was the best thing I have ever done and can’t wait to do it again! I have too many favourite places to list Barcelona, Slovenia, Berlin, Santorini, London… to name a few. Some places were truly eye opening which made me realise how lucky we are.
The craziest thing I did on holiday was jumping out of a helicopter over the Swiss Alps. Amazing!
Another hobby of mine is pole dancing… and no, not that kind of pole dancing! I didn’t really want to write this on here but Andrew and Linda encouraged me to (and if not, they said they would). It’s the most fun I’ve had exercising. A lot of people have a certain opinion about this type of activity, but when done properly there is so much strength and skill involved. I’ve been going for a year now and I am amazed at some of the things I can do. For all the girls out there, I definitely recommend giving it a go!
So that’s me in a nutshell.
Chances are, if you come into the Erina Heights studio, you will be seeing me. I have been at Impact Images for over 4 years and loving it.
