Pay Less For the Best Central Coast Wedding Photographers

You might already know about the Your Wedding Made Easy – Wedding Discount Card but you may not be aware that with the wedding card you save $200 when you book Impact Images for your wedding photography.

I’ve made no secret about the card or that we accept the card, along with heaps of the very best wedding service providers on the Central Coast. What I am amazed at though, is that many couples are

Will an Engagement Shoot Improve Your Wedding Photos?

Firstly, in answer to the article heading – yes and no.

The advice I give to my couples on whether or not to have an engagement shoot depend on a few things.

  1. Were both the bride and groom at the wedding photography booking appointment?
  2. Are either of you worried or nervous about having your photo taken?
  3. Have you only ever had bad photos taken of yourself and are worried about not getting good photos?

To tackle these points, it’s important to understand that great wedding photos (or any portraits for that matter) will depend on

Bridesmaid Essentials… a survival kit for a successful wedding

It was so much fun to enjoy a Newcastle and Hunter Valley wedding day as a bridesmaid. Definitely one of the most honourable things you can do for a best friend and one of the most enjoyable days of your life!

Despite having photographed countless weddings in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley Vineyards, it really was a new and valuable experience to see through the eyes of a BM.

Wedding Photography and Back ups… is your wedding photographer responsible?

Hi everyone!

I just thought I would share this information for any other couples who have experienced this nightmare!

Our wedding photographer accidentally deleted our wedding photos, we have been absolutely devastated. We had such a perfect wedding and I designed the wedding specifically for the “LOOK”.. and it was ours and 6 other couples who lost their photos at the same time. WORST NIGHTMARE!

Four months later and we were still trying to recover them, thinking it was not possible. All the photos were on an external hard drive that had been accidentally reformatted..

How scary is that? How do you avoid this happening to you?

Central Coast Wedding Professionals… everything you need to know, everything!

I’ve been photographing weddings for a long time and take many wedding services for granted. I know there will be a gown, a cake, make-up, flowers and decorations. Every wedding has all of these. I see them every week.

Sure, I check with my brides which supplier they have for what and often recommend businesses that I am 100% sure will deliver when requested. Suppliers and professionals that will go above and beyond.

Newcastle Baths and a Cathedral Wedding for Jacqui and Wade

Firstly, I must apologise for my slackness in blog posts lately. As the silly season slowly subsides and we get back into wedding mode here at Newcastle, I promise I will find more time to post lots of fresh work for you to see.

The Summer wedding season has kicked off with lots of Newcastle weddings, which I am loving (it’s very muggy in the vineyards this time of year) and has seen me shooting at Newcastle’s famed locations such as the Newcastle Baths and Christchurch Cathedral.

Nicolette & Luke: A magic Hunter Valley Wedding

Hunter Valley Weddings just don’t get better than this! When I think of the perfect wedding, I picture two people in love, happiness, laughter, a romantic location, family, friends and something that I just can’t put my finger on – you know, the magic… it’s either there or it isn’t. Well, the wedding of Nicolette and Luke had the something special, the magic.

I think it’s fair to say, the magic comes from the couple – Nicolette and Luke have it.

I asked Nicolette all about her day and some advice for future brides, in the chance that anyone else getting married can capture a little magic for their day.

Wedding: Tanya & Daniel

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of being asked to capture some photos of a gorgeous couple of as they celebrated their marriage with close friends and their families. I know, after photographing many weddings, just how important and close families can be but for Tanya and Daniel – they just seemed to be extra close. Thanks guys for including me in your amazing day.
