My Boys, Last Day of Term

This morning I returned home from an early ride to find my boys dressed for last day of term a little differently than usual. Today is “multicultural day” and as such everyone has the chance to dress up

I was recently been inspired to get the old Holga camera out and give some 120 film a spin. It’s so exciting having…

It was tough coming home and back to work after such a terrific holiday. Below are a few snaps from the beginning of our holiday which started in Scotland to photograph a wedding (which can be seen by clicking here) and the four days Linda and I spent in Paris.

Last week I was lucky enough to be involved in a fantastic shoot that was initiated by Jonathan Dear of Vibrant Photography of the Southern Highlands. We met at a seminar last year and planned to get together for a shoot at some stage and that happened to be on the sand dunes of Stockton Beach.
I was searching through some files on the computer and came across a few portfolio style images from past shoots that may be of interest to anyone looking for ideas of what they can expect from a shoot of this type. Whether you have an idea or concept or we we come up with one together the options and styles are limitless.
My boys have returned to school for the year, I’m just back from holidays and downloading some images from the break and feel compelled to add a new post. You see, during the holidays, we had some great family times as no doubt you did and we captured a few of those moments with the camera. We also had a visit from Linda’s Aunty Marina from Scotland – this was her first and very likely to be her only trip to Australia. Of course I grabbed a few photos to relive some of the times we all spent together.
Keira Pride is a fantastic athlete, someone totally committed to her sport and an inspiration to anyone interested in chasing their dreams. I feel lucky to be able to call her a friend.
I’ve only known Keira for a short time, since she has joined the Central Coast Cycling Club (CCCC) to improve the cycling aspect of her chosen sport – triathalon. Since that time she has improved out of sight and has now been selected to join the Queensland Institute of Sport’s triathlon team as a future prospect for the Olympics.
