Kass and Beau – Model Portfolio Photography

Talk about freezing! This was not a good day for a portfolio photography shoot where we were hoping to go for a “summery” feel. Kass was looking to add to her portfolio and as an an experienced model wanted to introduce her boyfriend Beau to the idea.

With the date and time locked in and busy schedules, there was no choice but to go ahead with the shoot at the Newcastle Baths. Lucky for Kass and Beau, this wasn’t a swim suit shoot which was also happening at the same time and location. And who says modelling isn’t a tough job!

As a first try at this modelling gig, Beau did

Light Painting Photography for Your Central Coast Wedding

Central-Coast-Wedding-Light-Painting_004I’ve had a great couple of shoots experimenting with a new technique that we can now happily offer to you if you’d like to have some light painting photography for your Central Coast wedding. Obviously, these images can only be created at night time but will work in just about any location or venue.

The best time for shots like these on your wedding day would be just before

Central Coast Reptile Park Wedding Photography meets Kel-Leigh Couture… and Ian

The Australian Reptile Park at Somersby is now a Central Coast wedding venue and a great place for your wedding photography if you are into…. reptiles. Actually, there’s lots more to the park than just the animals, although they are a terrific drawcard. There is plenty of bushland, grassed areas and forest trails that are perfectly suited to beautiful wedding photos.

Last week, I was lucky enough to be

Gym Junkie, a Central Coast Pin Up Style Model Portfolio Shoot

The following article is a guest post by Carolyn who recently experienced a portfolio photography session after reaching her amazing fitness goals. From the first phone call it was evident this was going to be a great and fun shoot – Carolyn had very specific ideas in regard to style of images, fashion and photography locations or sets for each of the looks she was after.

There is much more to the story than the photography session, here’s Carolyn to fill you in on her journey.

Everyone needs something to motivate them and a goal to achieve. After all that’s what life is about…

For me, being a busy working Mum with three kids, getting fit was always going to be a

Portfolio: Karli

This was a fun shoot – Karli, who is new to the Central Coast, a highly accredited gym instructor and ex-gymnist was after some photos for herself with the chance of some modelling work in the future and needed some images when approaching an agency. The shoot was very relaxed with plenty of laughs and although most images were shot in the studio, we made the most of the autumn colours for a few images.

Wedding/Portfolio/E-shoot/Practice… ?

This is a tough shoot to categorise as Tara and Jo are actually a couple and are engaged to be married in 2012 so I guess it was an e-session but it doubled as a shoot for Kelly from Kel-Leigh Couture to photograph a couple of her new gowns. I also had the chance to be very selfish and choose the location and style of images to shoot – basically a bit of a play with some new equipment before bringing it out at a real wedding.
