Don’t forget there is a Bridal Expo at Newcastle City Hall on Sunday 16th – from 10am till 4pm.
When Kyra and Mark booked me to photograph their wedding I had the feeling that this was a day that had been planned and dreamed about since Kyra was a little girl. Not only were the two of them excited about the prospect of a “perfect wedding,” Kyra’s dad Kerry was every bit as passionate about making everything just right.
With only a week or two before her due date, Kentrelle booked a pregnancy session with her husband Craig to capture some memories of this special time. It’s not uncommon for the guys to get dragged along to these shoots and just do what they are told to keep their wives happy and for support.Details
Sydney locations are second to none when it comes to photos and Amanda and Troy picked some spectacular places to celebrate their wedding. From the guys pad in Manly, the beautiful Mosman property where the girls made their preparations, the stunning North Sydney church and Gunners Barracks for the reception – anyone would have been able to capture some great photos.Details
Leaves and Fishes in the Hunter Valley is fast becoming a signature venue for beautiful, stylish weddings and this day was no exception. A wonderful fusion of natural setting, fabulous food and incredible service, has this venue as one of the most desirable in the Hunter.
When a couple love and value photography as much as I do it sure makes shooting a whole lot of fun. It’s pretty easy to see from the images below that Emily was happy to “work it” for the camera and looked simply stunning in her Kel-Leigh Couture gown. The girls made their preparations at an amazing retreat not far from Bowral in the Southern Highlands on what was shaping up to be a very wet day. With locations, a gown and gorgeous bride like this however, who needs the outdoors!Details
What a beautiful little wedding this was. Cherry and Rod have a lovely story of how they met, their travels and a gorgeous baby girl – and now they are married. The wedding was a ‘secret’ affair that took place on the large balcony of a magnificent Star Of The Sea Apartment overlooking Terrigal Haven on a blue sky day.Details
I was a little nervous about this day from the minute I woke up – not for me but for Alicia and Dan. Although the skies were blue, the forecast was for some seriously bad weather that afternoon. I was confident that we were going to get great photos no matter the conditions but if it turned as bad as predicted the guys would not be arriving by boat to the ceremony, the ceremony would have to be moved from the lake side gardens to indoors and there were limited areas for photography afterwards. Nothing to do but wait.Details
As promised on a previous news post, here are a few more photos of what was an amazing day, one that will stay with me for years to come.
There are some weddings that have plenty of emotion, some where you can “feel the love”, others where everyone seems truly happy and excited, some weddings feature beautiful and heartfelt speeches, some weddings parties are great to photograph – well, the wedding of Jen and Pat had all of these and more.Details
When a couple have travelled together they gather many rich tales.
Beth and Rod have a huge passion for travel and with proposals made on sleighs in the snow and Rod’s parents first meeting Beth at a conferences in Europe, there were bound to be some wonderful stories in the speeches.Details
